If you’ve worn glasses and/or contacts for a long time, you’ve probably wondered if laser vision correction is an option for you. At La Rose Vision Centre we can help you understand your laser eye surgery options and give you all the facts to help you make the best decision for your eyes.
In order to ensure laser vision correction is the right option for you we must first conduct a comprehensive eye examination to assess your vision, determine your refraction and examine your overall eye health.
If you are a good candidate for laser vision correction we will discuss the different laser surgery options there are, help determine what type of procedure is best for you and refer you to a Laser Eye Surgery Center.
After you have the laser surgery, we will see you for follow-up care. The follow-up care you receive depends upon the type of laser surgery you have undergone. The follow-up appointments are usually done at 1-3 days, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months and 6 months.
It is recommended that patients who have undergone laser corrective surgery have annual eye exams to help ensure long-term results and check the overall health of the eyes.
