Senior Eye Exams
As we age, we are at a significantly higher risk of developing eye problems and eye disease. Early detection, diagnosis and management are essential in maintaining optimal vision and quality of life. Patients that are diagnosed with an ocular medical condition that requires further investigation or surgical intervention will be referred to our trusted and established network of local Ophthalmologists.
At age 65 and older, adults should have an eye exam at least once a year. Early identification and treatment of conditions that can often have no visible symptoms is essential in protecting your sight. Patients with certain eye conditions may be seen on a more frequent basis.
OHIP covers one full eye exam per year for patients ages 65 and over.
